Weaning.. and more!
A lactation consultant helps you understand what’s causing these issues—and creates a personalized feeding plan so you can breastfeed, pump, bottle feed, or formula feed with confidence. With the right support, most feeding problems improve quickly, and you can enjoy a more peaceful and successful feeding journey.
At LGS Perinatal Services, we provide compassionate, evidence-based lactation and feeding support designed to meet you and your baby wherever you are—virtually, in-office, or in the comfort of your home. Our services include hands-on in-person consultations, flexible virtual visits, and focused Flow Sessions to address specific feeding challenges. We accept most insurance plans, and clients can also use HSA/FSA funds toward our services. Please note that in-home visits may include a travel fee depending on distance. Our goal is to make professional lactation support accessible, convenient, and stress-free, so you can focus on what matters most—your baby and your family.

In Person Visits
Experience hands-on support tailored to your family. During an in-person visit, I assess your baby’s latch, feeding patterns, and weight gain, troubleshoot common challenges like painful nursing, low milk supply, engorgement, or bottle refusal, and provide practical tools and guidance. Together, we develop a personalized feeding plan that fits your lifestyle and your baby’s needs. Perfect for families who want direct, hands-on coaching and ongoing in-home support.

Flow Sessions
Flow Sessions are focused, solution-oriented consultations designed to address specific feeding challenges quickly. Whether it’s nipple pain, low milk supply, pumping issues, or baby refusing the bottle, these sessions give you the tools and confidence to get results fast. These shorter, targeted sessions are perfect for parents who want focused guidance without a full consultation or for follow-up support after an initial visit.

Insurance & Payment Options
At LGS Perinatal Services, we want to make professional lactation support as accessible as possible. Our services are covered by most insurance plans, and we also accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) payments. ATTENTION BCBS CLIENTS: Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) does not credential IBCLCs, so visits for BCBS members would be self-pay. However, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. For in-home visits, a travel fee may apply depending on your location. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm coverage and out-of-pocket costs prior to your appointment. We are committed to making quality lactation care affordable, convenient, and accessible, so you can get the support you need without stress.
