About the event
The Maternal Vitality Garden Party was brought about due to a lack of events catering solely for mothers. With an abundance of community baby showers, maternal wellness resources were an afterthought. The MV Garden Party seeks to celebrate motherhood and mothers because mothers are vital, and deserve vitality in the perinatal period.
At the event, you can expect vendors, a panel of experts, food, and a mama mocktail bar!
Our speakers are highly esteemed experts in their fields and in helping birthing people throughout the perinatal period:
Kiana Ayers is a nurse, lactation consultant at Mamas and Tatas, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and Director of Ready Set Push, a non-profit organization with a mission to provide high-quality childbirth education and resources to low-income families.
Keisha Reaves is a licensed professional counselor, is certified in perinatal mental health, and is the clinical director of Push Thru Therapy.
